Originally set up as 3 guitarists, a bassist, and a beat-machine named HAL, Gorgeous Mornings first began in 2013 as an attempt to drift away from the post-punk roots of songwriter/guitarist Tom Saporito. Now, with Paul Lauber on lead guitar and Mike Sepkowski on drums, Gorgeous Mornings is a pseudo jam band with heavy pop, children's, and folk music influences.
